This page is not unambiguously promotional, because securities class action settlements are becoming a huge deal. I have been doing research for a college paper on the effect that these type of settlements will have, as many of the cases from the financial crisis in 2007 are about to conclude. Along with other services like Battea or FRT (they should have a page to be honest), these companies are making a killing in this industry. It is unregulated and has the potential to reap extreme profits from the failure of places like AIG or Bear Sterns. I wish they had more cases so I could know exactly what they are dealing with. --99.133.145.67 (talk) 01:44, 17 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because it is again a very important part of a growing industry in finance as a whole. Many companies like Chicago Clearing Corporation are emerging everyday and I think it is very under-covered on Wikipedia. In the midst of a lack of authors and editors, Wikipedia should definitely try to snowball off of this page. I know I could help certainly contribute to securities claim part of this site. Class action lawsuits are already covered and this company and others like it do a version of that same exact thing. The overall coverage of this industry and the companies at the forefront (i.e. Liquid Claims and many other major banks have entities inside of them that do this) should be included. --99.133.145.67 (talk) 03:44, 17 July 2013 (UTC)David M. This page is not unambiguously promotional, because Chicago Clearing Corporation is actually kind of important. There was a huge Bank of America case that is still being settled and they recovered tons and tons of money for people. There are going to be a lot of cases like the Bank of America one coming up because of all of the crazy stuff that happened in 2007-2008 (see Michael Lewis' "The Big Short"). I think that it should be kept despite it being about the company and everything. Another article should be written about securities class action stuff because that is maybe even more important. Don't delete, we need more pages anyway. --208.68.3.162 (talk) 13:17, 17 July 2013 (UTC)George Beckwith[reply]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because I put a lot of research and work into creating this article. I am trying to build some more articles on financial institutions that are growing in the world. I plan on following this page up with others concerning class action lawsuits on the pending cases of AIG, Goldman Sachs, and Facebook. Chicago Clearing Corporation is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of companies that have profited a great deal from the 2007-2008 financial meltdown. I think it would be a disservice to Wikipedia if this article (and the others I plan to write about this industry) are taken down. It is important that this site continues to grow and that means expanding into markets and industries that many are not aware of. I have been working on an overall understanding of the fallout and repercussions of what happened in 2007-2008, and securities class action lawsuits and places like Chicago Clearing Corporation are what rose from the ashes. --CarletonkidonCUT (talk) 14:08, 17 July 2013 (UTC)CarletonkidonCUT[reply]
