Good start - an infobox ? Victuallers 21:38, 6 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think it would be appreciated by readers to add that there was a Chichester High School for Boys long before 1971. I attended the school from 1941 until 1945 and have a copy of the school magazine with autographs of many of the teacher of that time. The motto was the same as that shown in this article.

The Headmaster was Mr E W Bishop when I joined the school. He obtained his PhD while was there.

There are quite a few inaccuracies in this. The Lancastrian School was a secondary modern school before 1971 and Chichester High School for Boys was a grammar school. The schools had a very painful amalgamation, and the new school adopted the uniform and identity of the old grammar school. Margaret Thatcher was the education secretary who approved the the comprehensivisation of the school. The list of headmasters is utterly wrong. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.163.207.166 (talk) 21:04, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New Houses[edit]

The House system is being done away with by the new head teacher, to be replaced by a new system. This article needs updating. --79.68.110.245 (talk) 15:58, 24 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, changes are being made/added to the page as Chichester High School. Chichester High School for BOYS and Chichester High School for GIRLS closed and CHICHESTER HIGH SCHOOL was created. Someone has now edited the Chichester High School for Girls page which has deleted all the history which is really sad - I hope this doesn’t happen to the BOYS page. Thanks TJW713 (talk) 19:53, 10 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

John Robinson[edit]

Someone has removed from the article the mention of John Robinson's inglorious departure from the school. The incident was widely reported in the local press and meets the notability requirements, so it deserves a mention in the article. --79.68.99.67 (talk) 14:41, 24 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Steven Seagal[edit]

Are you sure Steven Seagal went here? This seems unlikely to me. 2A01:4B00:82A0:7A00:D1BC:77F7:B7FE:E87F (talk) 18:17, 30 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I personally think that there need to be more references in that section. FusionSub (talk) 13:33, 4 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
