Under Personal, it mentions he announced he had cancer in 2015, should be 2016.

What caused his throat cancer?[edit]

According to reports, Chris had never been a smoker, so it seems that any challenges he faced with regard to his health had nothing to do with his own habits.Mar 4, 2024 172.56.28.45 (talk) 15:09, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Domino's Controversy Section[edit]

"On Dec 30, 2015 Mortensen and Adam Schefter were caught shilling for Dominos on twitter without revealing they had been paid to do so. Mortensen tweeted out "There’s nothing better on NYE than some football and @Dominos #HomeOnNYE". On the same day Schefter tweeted "NYE means college football and @Dominos pizaa. The tweets violated both basic journalistic standards as well as FTC regulations. [6] "

Quite a biased and impartial prose in "caught shilling" and "violated basic journalistic standards". I request that his years active as a reporter be changed. It is incorrect he did not start reporting for ESPN in 1994, he instead started in 1991 and he retired in 2023 not 2024. Hudbud2011 (talk) 02:05, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
