Untitled[edit]

The information that Strike Back was shot entirely in Gauteng is factually incorrect. It was shot in a variety of provinces within South Africa. Sequel?[edit]

Episode six leaves John Porter escaping CIA-briefed US ISAF elements possibly into Iran in what looks like a plot recipe for a sequel. I realize that Chris Ryan only penned one book with the character 'John Porter', but wonder if he might write the script for a sequel?Twobells (talk) 12:11, 29 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Section 20?[edit]

Is Section 20 a fictional organization? It seems like that, as MI6 is shorthand for Section 6. Why would they have sections inside of sections? 80.98.146.68 (talk) 22:06, 22 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Section 20 is a part of MI6. 20 is fictional also. MI6 is not knows as Section 6, at least not anymore. -- Matthew RD 22:18, 22 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Well, shouldn't it be noted in the article that Section 20 is fictional? This series is very realistic, so the line kind of blurs between real and fictional for the viewer. Article title[edit]

Would Chris Ryan's Strike Back be a better title for this article? It seems it is the only series referred to by this name and also it is the name that the article already uses in the lead and infobox. I believe it is preferred that natural disambiguation is used over parenthetical disambiguation. Thoughts? Themeparkgc  Talk  23:01, 8 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Upon looking at the edit history, the article was titled "Chris Ryan's Strike Back", but it was moved by WP user WikiDan61, reasoning; "The official title of the series does not include the author's name." But since the author's name was mentioned in not just the DVD release and intertitle, I see no problem with the title change. I just moved it to "Strike Back (series 1)" because it was simple. I suppose if you ask an admin to move the page, or at least ask the already existing redirect "Chris Ryan's Strike Back" be deleted, then we may move the page title. -- Matthew RD 00:04, 9 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Preparation[edit]

This sentence, from Production/Preparation, seems to be missing some words: "Though the majority were actually rubber duplicates were sometimes used for some of the background characters."
