An explanation is needed, since there are plenty of sinister connotations behind that flag. At the time Christa Speck was born (1942), Danzig was a part of the German Reich. Today, the city is called Gdansk and is part of Poland. I believe that use of the current German or Polish flags would be inaccurate. Rglovejoy 16:14, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
