Accuracy and precision[edit]

I've tried to be true to the sources, but my lack of specific knowledge on this issue (I just heard the 3 June 2005 This American Life episode and figured Wikipedia needed an article on this, so I went Googling...) has resulted in some waffling in certain places. It would be nice if someone with more knowledge could polish this a bit more. A good place to start might be (TAL interviewee) Isaac Kramnick's book, The Godless Constitution (ISBN 039331524X). By the way, he says that amendments were proposed in 1874, 1894, 1910, 1947 and 1954, but I couldn't verify these exact years, so I just referred to them by decade. - dcljr (talk) 02:04, 23 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
