OzHistory Hi - I came by the review this article, but I'm not sure that I can sign off on the sourcing as it stands. It seems like this is an inherently notable subject, but what I'm not seeing in the article is any sourcing about the subject itself (Christian music in Australia) - you have lots of sources about individual musicians and ensembles who perform what could reasonably be described as Christian music, but I'm not seeing anything about Australian Christian music in general. Do you know of any such sources that could be added? (On a separate issue, I'm not sure that the parenthetical descriptions of the singers in the lead are necessary, or MOS-compliant - we shouldn't describe anyone as the King of Australian Country Music in Wikipedia's voice, and I'm not sure that 'the critically acclaimed brooding rocker' strikes the right tone in terms of formality - I'd suggest just getting rid of these altogether, readers can follow the links if they don't know who they are. • Thanks, yes this is stub or start status article, and I am sure it will attract editors more knowledgable on the subject than I. It just occurred to me as a major omission from the articles on Australian music, and something I'd like to learn more about, so I've kicked it off by bringing together existing material from wikipedia. There are already category lists for this topic, but no home articles. I have more when time allows. I can revise those other "tone issues" - although in the case of Slim Dusty, that soubriquet is almost universally applied. Ozhistory (talk)

Can Rebecca St. James and the newsboys be added to this article? Morriswa (Charlotte Allison) (talk) 20:58, 26 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
