Answers reader request[edit]

In their book The Christians, Bamber Gascoigne and Christina Gascoigne write about the conversion of Norway to Christianity - some 20000 Norwegians were put to the sword by one of the Kings Olaf for refusing to give up the old religion.

In other places historians of the Sami people describe forcible conversion: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=umNEnyxxFxE (Come with me to the sacred mountain) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1r76l-N_AM (Mari Boine Persen speaks of persecution)

Merge[edit]

If there are no objections in the coming days, I will merge the stub Jehovah's Witnesses in Norway back into this article. If it is left as a separate article, it should be expanded with notable information from reliable third-party sources.--Jeffro77 (talk) 23:28, 10 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request from Xschuff, 29 March 2011[edit]

I have been working on the article "Orthodoxy in Norway" and believe that a small excerpt of this would be appropriate for the section on the Orthodox Church in Norway. The section on the Roman Catholic Church is already presented.

If you provide an overview paragraph I'll add it to the page for you. — Bility (talk) 16:27, 29 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
