Untitled[edit]

The Chronic Poverty Research Centre is carrying out work of international interest on poverty in cooperation with universities throughout the Uk, Africa and Asia. Chronic Povery is an important concept that is currently missing from Wikipedia and those interested in poverty research would find useful resources through the CPRC and partner websites.

The CPRC is one of a new breed of Development Research Centres supported by the UK Department for International Development so the aim of its inclusion on Wikipedia is to share research knowledge and invite wider debate on this important issue. This development research will contribute to the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals.

CPRC research has been published in journals including World Development, Journal of Development Studies, Poverty in Focus (UNDP), Insights, etc

"Off-topic" references removed[edit]

The listed references seem to cover the topic of chronic poverty in general, with little to no relevance for the organization itself. The removed references are still available in article history, in case editors would like to use them as ressources for other poverty-related articles. But this article about 1 organization should only focus on the organization itself. GermanJoe (talk) 12:52, 13 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
