Cinema -> Yes[edit]

Cinema (band) says "They started recording the album 90125, but soon after this the band dropped the name 'Cinema' and renamed itself 'Yes'", but Yes (band)#Trivia says "However, after the recording was finished, the record company decided to market it under the name Yes, against Rabin's protestations." What is the real story? XxAvalanchexX (talk) 20:33, 25 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know, seems like we'll have to dig deeper into this. Spiby 17:11, 30 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merge?[edit]

Should we merge this with Cinema (song)? These articles are both pretty small, and they basically explain the same things. The band Cinema doesn't really even exist since it just became Yes. What do you think? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.130.107.240 (talk) 22:40, 27 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I think a merge into 90125 probably makes more sense, or maybe into Yes. Cinema (Yes song) exists because it won a Grammy, although Cinema (Yes instrumental) seems more appropriate as a title. Bondegezou (talk) 11:08, 29 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
