Wondering how people feel about wikifying links for many of the names on the track list. People such as Yuri Kochiyama and George Jackson have pages that could be linked to. Leeidiot008 (talk) 04:52, 20 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

don't delete this page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.209.48.53 (talk) 22:46, 31 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you wish the page to not be deleted, please go to the linked deletion discussion, and explain why this page meets our current policies for notability. Qwyrxian (talk) 01:13, 1 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

there is absolutely no reason to delete this article, if one person a year looks it up it is worth keeping. just because you can doesn't mean you should delete it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.209.48.53 (talk) 04:32, 1 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Again, the place to discuss this is at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Cinemetropolis. However, Wikipedia does not choose to keep or delete articles based on the number of times people look them up. We have a set of policies and guidelines that cover which subjects can and cannot have articles. In this case, the two important guidelines are WP:GNG and WP:NALBUM. The point is that since this album has not been the subject of discussion in multiple, independent reliable sources, it should not have its own article, and, instead, whatever verifiable information is available should be put in Blue Scholars. If you know of reliable sources that discuss the album, then they can be added to the article and it may then be kept. Qwyrxian (talk) 04:45, 1 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

So...it's been released...and?[edit]

It's been released for about two weeks. Have there been any notable reviews of this album? Has it or any songs on it charted on a national chart? I'd appreciate it if the supporters of the article found such references. Without them, the next step will be to go back to a deletion discussion. Remember, merely existing as an album is not enough for the article to be kept: the album must be notable, based on the criteria found at WP:ALBUM or WP:GNG; so far, this article has no independent sources.
