Science fiction?[edit]

Please elaborate on how this series is science fiction. Is James Bond science fiction because Q has invented some fictional technology? 94.118.28.98 (talk) 10:32, 28 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Without unnecessary spoilers, I would think that the "Backstop" concept is what most directly qualifies this as science fiction. 108.68.93.69 (talk) 20:29, 18 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I concur. When the gadgetry reaches a certain outlandishness level, as it does in this show, it takes centre stage and dictates the genre. – AndyFielding (talk) 11:27, 27 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Production codes[edit]

FWIW, this series seems to have production codes for the episodes at the end of the end-credits – for example, episode #1.6 ("Secrets in Night Need Early Rains") is labeled as "Citadel Episode #AUPS106" in the end-credits (at 46:07). --IJBall (contribstalk) 02:44, 19 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
