Civil liberties and Civil rights are the same thing.

Is this true?[1] Maybe we oughta merge the articles to avoid confusion. Felsic2 (talk) 18:48, 22 March 2016 (UTC)

Yesterday (July 4, 2016) I reverted a revert that Gavin Sch had performed on a relatively old contribution of mine. The reason is that I had originally done what I think it was a correct revert in good faith. The anon 108.19.217.165 had included information that had nothing or little to do with the article's subject. In addition, it had included no sources to the new material it was adding, and had explained its contribution with the simple and always suspicious phrase, "Added Content." To include it back, which is what reverting me did, is to spam and clutter Wikipedia with unnecessary and misleading information. So, instead of just reverting, this time I also rewrote the entire section from scratch to fit within the article more properly. I invite all to collaborate and improve it.
