Is "serial killer" the proper term?[edit]

At the time of this writing, the serial killer-article says "A serial killer is typically a person who murders three or more people,[1] usually in service of abnormal psychological gratification, with the murders taking place over more than a month and including a significant period of time between them.". According to this article (at the time of this writing), Cleophus Cooksey Jr. is suspected of nine murders committed during a 21-day span. Isn't that too short a period for the "serial killer"-description? Heart of Destruction (talk) 08:24, 13 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
