History section[edit]

I extensively added information about the history of CHS from the Cleveland High School home page (http://www.clevelandwarriors.org/about/history.html). While plaigarism wasn't intended, I'd appreciate it if someone could fix the citation, so the website is at least referenced in the "References" section. --Micahbrwn 21:33, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pipe organ[edit]

I am part of the group that maintains the pipe organ in the Cleveland HS auditorium, and we would like to see a brief mention of that (little-known) instrument in the Wikipedia article... perhaps something like this: The Cleveland auditorium is equipped with a 3-manual, 26-rank theater pipe organ. The instrument was removed from Benson High School, enlarged, and installed in the Cleveland Auditorium during 1990 and 91 by the Oregon Chapter of the American Theatre Organ Society.

Here are links to source material: http://www.theatreorgans.com/oregon/ocatos/kimball326a.htm http://www.pstos.org/instruments/or/portland/cleveland.htm http://www.clevelandwarriors.org/about/history.html http://www.atos.org/locator/

If someone would like to add this, I would be grateful. If not, and there is no objection, I will add it. Leporid (talk) 03:24, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

History removal[edit]

Unfortunately, I had to remove the history section, since it's a blatant copyvio from the CHS history page. Hopefully someone can rewrite it and re-add it, since there is a good deal of information there. tedder (talk) 19:13, 24 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Not a COMPLETE copyvio; my contribution was original. Not quite an excision, IMHO. Leporid (talk) 20:49, 7 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Feel free to add the non-copyvio parts back. tedder (talk) 06:36, 22 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Athletic field?[edit]

The field is actually a few blocks east of the school, correct? Was this, the school building property, and all the property in between part of the original Clinton Kelley property? The article says the Kelley house was on the athletic field's site. Why is the field so far from the school? --98.246.156.76 (talk) 23:26, 15 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
