Most of the houses were built NOT in the early to mid 60's but easily a decade earlier.

187-167 MacIntosh were built in 1949. My grandmother bought #167 that same year.
The large area south of Kindston Rd. fom Midland Ave in the east to Rosetta Park in the west was originally a golf course which became a housing development starting in early 1950. Even the houses on the old John Leslie farm on Midland Ave between K.R. and St Clair were built in the years 1954-1956. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.28.246.89 (talk) 09:26, 21 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Education[edit]

Is not St. John Henry Newman Catholic High School a secondary school in the neighbourhood? Mosowai (talk) 01:19, 5 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Mosowai I would agree with you. As a long time resident of the neighbourhood Newman is definitely in Cliffside. Bats84 (talk) 22:18, 26 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
