Dave Brown Medal[edit]

No mention of the Dave Brown Medal, which according to Brown's article, was the equivalent award up until Clive Churchill's death, when the medal's name was changed. Some of the NSWRFL season articles name the Dave Brown Medallist, so perhaps we could add these on to the list in this article as per the Dally M Medal's article. Brown died in 1974, so could this be the year from which his medal was awarded?--Jeff79 (talk) 04:47, 16 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re order page[edit]

Why do the retrospective awards follow the 1986-present table? Surely they are now counted as all being the same award so does anyone have any issue with the the two tables being flipped so all are ordered correctly? An explanation can still be made about the retrospective awards but at least it will flow properly. Anderch (talk) 22:57, 13 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I have no problem with the current layout. The CCM began in 1986, so to suggest it started earlier (by listing from 1954) is not correct. That would also suggest he awarded the first medal to himself! WWGB (talk) 06:24, 14 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Most medals[edit]

So who has received most medals? Is it Clyde and Slater (modern era), or Provan (retrospective medals)? The article is self-contradictory. WWGB (talk) 03:48, 25 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
