I deleted the most egregious advert copy material. I've left some items I'm doubtful about but don't know if they should be cut. This article also needs more wikification. I'll try to come back and spiff it up some. --Pigman (talk • contribs) 05:36, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
The Lynch Estate[edit]
I've removed the reference to the signatory of the American Declaration of Independence for two reasons. The name of the signatory was incorrect (John Lynch instead of Thomas Lynch Jr.) and there is no established connection between Thomas Lynch Jr. and the Petersburg estate. Paul B. McNulty's Genealogy of the Anglo-Norman Lynches who settled in Galway suggests that Thomas Lynch Jr. may be descended from the Gaelic Lynches of Cork.
