"seen as a satire on cheap package holidays and Tropicana drink" - what a load of absolute rubbish it was just seen as an uncomplicated happy song about being/going on holiday. No-one read any deep meaning into it. It sort of celebrated the lifestyle of the aspirational south-east English working-class with whom Wham! themselves would have been very familiar. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.156.5.31 (talk) 10:49, 23 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Does anyone know where i can watch the video for Club Tropicana for free on the net ???

Backup singers[edit]

The article mentions the duo Pepsi and Shirlie as appearing in the video but it would rather be Dee C. Lee that is in the video and not Pepsi DeMacque.

Bias[edit]

"is a semi-instrumental dub track of higher quality than is generally expected for B-side material." -And again, like in the "Young Guns" page - pure opinion from a fan's perspective.--Tuzapicabit (talk) 22:58, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Twist in the sexual tension[edit]

"A twist in the sexual tension between the two men and two women was revealed at the end, when it turned out that George and Andrew were airline pilots and Dee and Shirlie were stewardesses."

...and the even bigger twist is that George Michael was gay the whole time! 155.136.80.173 (talk) 08:50, 15 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

He's on record as saying it was about an imaginary club. This is one of the most fatuous Wikiedia entries I've ever read! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.78.223.39 (talk) 09:20, 28 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
