27 High Pavement was rented from Home Brewery by Ekco Lighting limited for some years until 1967 when the company was taken over by British Lighting Industries and moved to St Ann’s Well Road. The building was subsequently taken over by the adjacent public house which extended the ground floor bar of the county Tavern into what used to be my office from 1961 until 1967
