GIPA versus Brookfield[edit]

Much of the article seems to be overtaken by information regarding Brookfield's School Street hydoelectric plant. It reads much like advertising and promotional material for that company and does not talk much about GIPA's fight for the licence so they can put a bigger better plant. I am biased as I support GIPA's plan and think it is much better for the Capital District to have a locally controlled municipal authority own our resources than to have a Canadian company own them. So I'd rather not do the editing myself and have the problem of being too biased in the other direction. But if there isnt anyone else out there interested I guess I will. I just thought I'd put it out there that this article is waaaaaaaay too interested in a power plant and the POV that Brookfield is such a good company.Camelbinky (talk) 21:56, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
