By long tradition, it has been maintained that the Tron Church was in former times the location of the tron, or public weighbeam. Which is to say, that merchants desirous of trading their dry goods would come to the church and weigh them against the true and regulated weights and measures set down by law, to avoid fraudulent dealings in unreliable, underweight measures. Yet there is no mention of this subject anywhere in the article; nor have I found it an easy subject to research.
