Related to Station Wagons?[edit]

Can anyone tell? George Rodney Maruri Game (talk) 17:33, 21 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

There are many similarities and wagons were probably used as hearses somewhere but there are also many differences. Ambulances require a high roof line for the nurse/paramedic to able to sit upright while taking care of the patient - wagon rooflines are generally too low. Hearses tend to be based on luxury cars (want a nice car for the last ride) and wagons were more likely to be made in low to mid level trim grades. And then wagons went out of fashion and stopped being produced. So these factors pointed the industry to taking a large luxury sedan, ripping the roof and back end off, stretching it and adding a full length high roof.  Stepho  talk  01:52, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
