Difference from CCP?[edit]

So... what exactly is the difference? Different producers, different theatre? It's fundamentally the same show, isn't it? Would this not be better as a second part of the Comedy Central Presents page instead? Rickie-d (talk) 20:09, 25 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Merge with Comedy Central Presents[edit]

I propose that the page be merged with the page for Comedy Central Presents and the page that lists that program's episodes. The Half Hour has an identical format to that program, and aired during the same period of the year CCP usually airs. Furthermore, Comedy Central began airing a 90-minute bloc of Comedy Central Presents specials around 10 September of this year, during which The Half Hour stand-up specials have aired.

Comedy Central PresentsThe Half HourComedy Central Stand-Up Presents…[edit]

Comedy Central Presents ran for 15 seasons before ending in 2011. It was replaced in 2012 by The Half Hour, which, per a CC press release, is returning for a 6th season in 2017 under the new name Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents… . I suggest the old Comedy Central Presents keep its own separate page and that the page for The Half Hour redirect to a new page for Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents… with all of the current information and an explanation of the name change. Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents "Season 3"[edit]

So, I don't know where the last editor got their misinformation from, but Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents isn't a continuation of The Half Hour as the official press release for the third season can attest to.[1] Moreover, The Half Hour, Comedy Central Presents, and Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents… all have their own show pages on Comedy Central's website. The Vulture article was clearly incorrect.MarcoPolo250 (talk) 22:06, 3 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

CC refers to Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents as the series "Formerly Known as The Half Hour" in press releases here, here, and here.DarkProdigy (talk) 20:01, 18 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
