The DREAM link that has been put up, after I removed it previously, still appears to be broken. Is there some reason that it should stay up? - BanyanTree 20:40, 30 March 2006 (UTC)

There has been a bit of an edit war over the external links on this page. Here's the policy - removing an external link because it is critical of the topic of the article is not allowed. The external link is clearly described as being critical, and criticism is not the same as NPOV. Similarly, critical links that are in Italian are not allowed. This is English language Wikipedia and only as a last resort should non-English sources be used. If you want to add Italian language links, add them to it:Comunità di Sant'Egidio, which I see is having a controversy of its own. - BanyanTree 20:15, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

change

I changed the article putting inside the real traslation from italian site www.santegidio.org there's no copyrights 13:06, 7 July 2006 (UTC)giorgioparlante —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.18.136.82 (talkcontribs)

There certainly is. See the front page here. Notice the "Copyright 2005 Comunità di Sant'Egidio" in the middle? That applies to the entire site unless there is an explicit statement releasing content under a GFDL-compatible license. I have reverted the copyright violation. - BT 14:28, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
sorry the copyright is only on the pictures in front and sorry again but you dont know italian so....the site doesnt have any copyrights on his story and more I belong to the community so I know what you can or not do in his name... at last we will cancel this article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Talcking George (talkcontribs) 19:11, 14 November 2006

one more question; italian version its forbidden deep linking it is so for the english version? george Talcking George

85.18.14.18, please stop vandalising or "blanking" the article. That's not the way to improve an article. --Túrelio 10:31, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

Is there an explanation for the advertisement tag on the page? While the coverage is on how the Community defines itself, as well as its accomplishments, that isn't the same as trying to sell the topic of the article. Could the tagger identify wording or passages detailing how the article violates policy? This article hasn't been on my watchlist for a long time, so if there is no response, I would appreciate if someone would remove the tag after a week or so. Thanks, BanyanTree 08:55, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

Controversial Accumulation of Churches in Rome Section

Besides trying to make some small fixes to make it somewhat encyclopedic, I've tagged it POV, Weasel-wordy, and lacking any references. If someone has sourceable information on this, please have at it. It was tempting to delete or severely modify it altogether, and post the original text here for reference. As it was, it asked as many questions as it answered. I also note now that the person who edited this into the article did so anonymously. Caisson 06 (talk) 17:53, 19 March 2010 (UTC)

About the section "Churches and places of worship in Rome"

I think 77.43.13.154 posted it's contribution trying to put some references about the correct use (questioned with biased or unverifiable information) of the churches in use by the Community of Sant'Egidio in Rome. Anyway I'm collecting informations in order to systematize the matter writing it more in conformity with an enceclopedia. I'll post my contribution in the discussion page as soon as possible --Bosal (talk) 10:33, 16 April 2010 (UTC)

Merge proposal

I propose that the newly created page Comunity of Santo Egidio be merged to this page, Community of Sant'Egidio, as it appears to be about the same organisation. --Andreas Philopater (talk) 19:18, 21 April 2017 (UTC)

Support merge. Same organization. Onel5969 TT me 20:56, 21 April 2017 (UTC)
Support' Merge. I thought there was some kind of duplication by mistake, they seem to be broadly similar. scope_creep (talk) 23:18, 5 May 2017 (UTC)

Merger proposal

Hi, I think the two pages can be the same article, it's just an opinion, both article are still tagged. Lawtheagoraphobic (talk) 09:28, 19 April 2019 (UTC)

  • Merge! By all means, the two articles are the same topic. The material from the "Foundation" article, which was created only in 2017, should be added to this one from 2005. The "Foundation" article has not attracted hardly any attention, while this one posts lots of visits as can be checked here. As undisputed mergers require no search for consensus, I plan to effect this very soon if no one watching this page objects. Jzsj (talk) 02:12, 17 May 2019 (UTC)

I have completed the merger. Any problems with this please direct my way. Jzsj (talk) 14:28, 17 May 2019 (UTC)
