Concord Lyceum[edit]

I'm not familiar enough with the history of the Concord Lyceum to know what connection, if any, if has to Alcott's school. I can guess, however, that people speaking at a Concord Lyceum in the 1840s were not coming here, as it wasn't founded until much later. We should be careful of incorrectly linking to this article. --Midnightdreary (talk) 02:36, 19 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

As far as I can tell that redirect is just a mistake, and even if there's not likely to be a specific article on the Concord Lyceum it might better be redirected to the Lyceum movement article instead (as I have now done). The School of Philosophy (just to avoid any possible confusion, this is only one of many things that's sometimes called "Alcott's school") and the Lyceum were pretty much completely distinct. -- Rbellin|Talk 05:42, 19 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
