Notability Criteria[edit]

Can we get an idea of what would be considered notability here?

As we have world campaign settings such as Arcanis or Kingdoms of Kalamar and their living campaigns as part of the wikipedia and Dungeons and Dragons category, I believe that we have sufficient ground with Avlis as being a notable campaign setting based persistent world through the Neverwinter Nights engine to be considered part of this sub-category.-- NobAkimoto

Have a look at WP:WEB, it describes in detail what is considered notability criteria for web content (which this falls under as it is solely on the internet, as per the notability page itself). The fact that Wikipedia has other similar articles is not an argument for keeping this one - are you sure those other articles are notable enough for Wikipedia, or is it just that nobody has nominated them for deletion yet? -Lilac Soul (talk contribs count) 14:45, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That's what we're debating about, if these site s are norable enough to stand on their own or if we're better off making a combined page so they stand together. Terryrayc (talk) 17:15, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Assessment as of 2009-01-01[edit]

Downgrading to stub-class. There is, quite literally, hardly any material here, nor any proper citations. It's bad enough that I would consider recommending it for merging or deletion, as it doesn't look like there's enough notability for it to be a stand-alone item. There just isn't any material here to warrant an article that I can see.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 21:25, 1 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the input. As it is, there is no separate Wikipedia article spanning all notable persistent worlds in Neverwinter Nights wherefore there is nothing to merge this one with. It can remain as a stub. --VoidHamlet (talk) 16:48, 2 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
This article is a murge of several smaller articles. While it needs clean up it was already talked about and decided it meets the notability requirements to keep. Terryrayc (talk) 02:54, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with File:Avlis header.gif[edit]

The image File:Avlis header.gif is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Um I'm guessing it meets fairuse because the image is owned by the person who posted it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Terryrayc (talkcontribs) 18:12, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
