I do know that. I'm going to look around for free images of her. Mr. R00t Talk 17:31, 31 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Outcome[edit]

I've added this to the GA list. I've added the template. It is now a Good Article. Mr. R00t Talk 01:04, 6 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Do the math[edit]

Wiki says Marty Stuart was born 1958. This article says Marty saw Smith perform 38 years prior to their 1997 marriage. 1997 - 38 = 1959. Accordingly, Stuart saw Smith perform (and told his mother that one day he would marry Smith) when he was 1 year old (1959 - 1958 = 1). I don't think so. This article and the one on Stuart need to agree. 184.18.199.68 (talk) 03:59, 7 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

COI tag[edit]

@Rms125a@hotmail.com: Are you able to summarise your concerns here. If you consider the issues pervasive, you may wish to initiate a Good article reassessment. TheDragonFire (talk) 12:49, 22 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Extreme details and confessional-style tone appear to indicate, prima facie, that someone, either a fan or someone close to Smith, has edited the article. Nothing untoward so far, just tagged as notification, although I will have to review edit history and see what, if anything, was deleted or reworded. Yours, Quis separabit? 23:20, 22 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
This part is somewhat fancrufty and speculative:
Despite her success, Smith is considered by some music critics to be one of the most underrated vocalists in country music history[2] due to the decision not to pursue super stardom with the non-country general media market like such contemporaries as Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, and Tammy Wynette.[3] Artists such as Parton,[4] George Jones,[5] and Chely Wright[6] have cited Smith as either one of the best vocalists in the music industry or their favorite female artist.

Hello everyone. I updated the overview to make it sound less fan-heavy. I also updated the infobox at the top of the page. Let me know what else I can do to improve the article. Thanks! ChrisTofu11961 (talk) 18:30, 1 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
