Attribution[edit]

...supervise the attribution of radio frequencies to the private radio sector...

I suggest that "assignment", "allocation" or "distribution" might more accurately describe the CSA function; I feel that "attribution" has too passive a connotation for what the CSA actually does. English name[edit]

To the extent that English sources talk about it at all and use an English name for it, they tend to use High (not Superior) Audiovisual Council (sometimes, Board). The redirect and English name for it should probably be High Audiovisual Council. Mathglot (talk) 03:45, 30 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

As it happens, a name change is coming in 2022, along with a merge with Hadopi, the anti-piracy agency. The new name will be "Arcom", for Audiovisual and Digital Communication Regulatory Authority. See this report of 27 October 2021 from the Teller Report. Mathglot (talk) 07:51, 1 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
