is this the correct way to denote a game show? or should it just say (TV series) ??? I remember with 100% accuracy that the grand prize was always a Texas Instruments Home Computer, but I can't find a source for this. Any help? -- DocSigma 13:03, 26 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I was a contestant on this game show back in 1983. My team won, and yes the grand prize was a Texas Instruments Home Computer. Our prize package also included 4 tickets to Disneyland, a lunchbox, a Disney-themed excercise record (yes an actual record), and some other stuff. The details of the game as listed on this page of the Wikipedia are not 100% accurate. Each of the 3 team members saw a different clip from a different movie and then had to answer questions against a single opponent from the other team. My movie was The Rescuers. After answering the questions the two opposing team members had a race. After all 3 stations and team members competed we added up the "contraptiles" and the winner was determined. I am also looking for a copy of an episode. I was a contestant in the 80's and don't have any footage of my episode. If anyone knows of where I can find it, please post. Thanks. Amygray74 17:52, 4 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Amy: I'm a game show tape trader, and have just received two episodes of Contraption in the mail. Is this your episode?

-1983-Red Torpedoes (Steven, Tate, & Umoja) VS. Blue Spartans (Colleen, Nicole, & Amy)

If it is, let me know. Thanks!
