Location of Hospital[edit]

I would dispute that Cookridge Hospital is/was nearer Horsforth than Cookridge. Since the hospital is near or in Tinshill, I'd suggest it's nearer Holt Park than Horsforth. Thoughts anyone? Ian - --Ormers (talk) 22:54, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Location of Horsforth railway station[edit]

The Horsforth article says that the station is actually located on the Cookridge side of the Moseley beck. If that is correct does anyone know why it has the name Horsforth station? 20 August 2008 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.150.177.4 (talk) 22:05, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Pictures[edit]

I think the picture of the Jet2.com plane is now redundant. It is a picture of a plane and you can't see much in the background. We now have actual pictures.Chemical Engineer (talk) 23:03, 7 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, the picture served a meaningful purpose, whilst there were no better images on the page. Two of the pictures on this page show a general overview of the area, making the Jet2 image surplus to requirements. Mtaylor848 (talk) 18:01, 9 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Cookridge. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Tinshill and Ireland Wood[edit]

It is obvious from Cole's books and general consideration that Tinshill and Ireland Wood are developments within the general area of Cookridge. After all, Cookridge Hospital is built in the wood known as Ireland Wood. Could we express this more elegantly in the lead? Chemical Engineer (talk) 16:37, 8 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
