peer review[edit]

The article does a good job so far. It is easy to understand without previous knowledge. But, I think at some points (for example: in section ocean acidification), the article needs more explanation for the general audience. I suggest you to add more sources if it's possible. The article has enough amount of subsections. Good luck!Itgel917 (talk) 14:57, 22 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Merge[edit]

Rather than 2 articles on aspects of Jamaica's reefs, I suggest a single article on Jamaica's reefs in general which can then be added to List of reefs. Samw (talk) 13:02, 30 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Samw, I have moved this article to a new title in the hopes that it will develop into more of an overview of the subject. I also added two new sections to move it in that direction, #Extent and #Coral diversity. I agree that Environmental issues of Jamaica's reefs should be merged here. Agree that a merge would be appropriate here. Loopy30 (talk) 22:11, 2 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge - Coral reefs of Jamaica deals mainly with environmental impacts. The articles should be combined. --Nessie (talk) 02:42, 3 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge - As Nessie said, both articles are about the same environmental issues. Leo Breman (talk) 18:34, 25 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge - not enough on environmental impacts to warrant a separate article — Epipelagic (talk) 08:27, 6 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
