Not near Prospectville[edit]

There is a problem with the NRHP's citation for this bridge. It is listed as "near Prospectville," but that community is several miles north of here. This bridge is located in Fort Washington, adjacent to Germantown Academy's campus, and carries Morris Road over the Wissahickon Creek.

Upstream of the bridge, the Wissahickon branches into tributaries. I wonder if one of them might have been called the "Prospectville Branch," and that was how the name wound up mistakenly associated with this bridge.
