twinning[edit]

Information needs to be verifiable to be included in Wikipedia. It is not even clear which place it is supposed to be twinned with. Also I don't understand why the omission of unverifiable information would offend people. And you ask me to "check my facts", please identify a reliable source that I can check. —Snigbrook 01:05, 18 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Statistics disagree[edit]

There are presently two completely different figures for population given. It should be pointed out that the statistics given in paragraph 3 refer to data obtained from a gazetteer published in 1870-72.
