Genre's[edit]

Wikierman337. Genre's require reliable sources as with all content added to Wikipedia as per this policy. When it comes to a song such as this one, the source needs to explicitly describe the genre you are attempting to add and not one of the 2 sources you have added do that. Your edit summary Post-grunge is a genre that you need to read between the lines when reading an article regarding it, any band or artist influenced by grunge (such as this particular artist and song) is considered post-grunge and the articles detail this is a preposterous statement. There should be no reading between the lines required or up to interpretation, it should be clearly describing the genre of this song and as stated, yours do not. I've reverted the edit again. We do not include sources with the expectation that our readers will "read between the lines", that's original research at best and falsification of sources at worse. @Wikierman337: Do not restore the genre without either 1) a reliable source that explicitly supports the addition/change or 2) consensus here that the genre should be included.-- Jezebel's Ponyo^{bons mots} 19:51, 8 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
