Sources and References[edit]

I happen to know that the source for this material was the old Lacuna Coil webpage, now redesigned. I do not know if this material was included in the redesign of the site. http://www.lacunacoil.it --SoAxVampyre 01:22, 30 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  • It seems to be still there indeed, though not completely. You just need to visit the "Elements" section and then click on Cristina's picture. Nothing is said about the sports she plays or has played. --fudo 22:22, 8 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

She is in a relation ship with James Root. I don´t know whether she lives together with him, but there are pics from both in his flat in Des Moines, IA. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 80.146.80.97 (talkcontribs).

Redirect?...[edit]

Anyobdy know why the article redirected to Lacuna Coil? I've changed it to a stub, which I'll expand in the near future. 13-days 14:12, 21 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

why no picture?[edit]

why isnt there a picture of christina on hero wn page?Karaveks voice 17:29, 26 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Best female vocalist[edit]

Period. Her voice is phenomenal.

Please try and keep the talk pages about it's respective article. XdiabolicalX 17:38, 18 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Triva[edit]

I'm going to try and integrate the trivia section before someone deletes it. Feel free to help. UnleashTheWolves 04:17, 2 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Arrgh I'm gonna have to find sources to all those things before I start... Might take some time UnleashTheWolves 04:23, 2 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've just split up what was there into two new sections, "personal life" and "musical career". Also rewrote some of the text, haven't made any major changes to the content. Will try and phase the trivia section into the article when I find some more sources. If anyone objects to what I've done, please discuss it. Thanks, UnleashTheWolves 10:55, 2 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Here are the remaining Trivia items, and these are the ones that are staying here, as they can't be sourced or aren't relevant. If you disagree, please speak up. UnleashTheWolves 03:51, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • The only mention of this is on a fan page (Emptyspiral.net). Is that an appropriate reference?
  • I can't find mention of it, and according to Emptyspiral.net (a fan page) her favourite album is actually Comalies.
  • These two should both go, Scabbia has said many times she is a fan of most music, and as these are not her favourite, you might as well list any artist.
  • She's close friend to Angela Gossow.
  • If she wasn't a singer, she'd like to be a make-up artist. She does most of her own and is noted for her great make-up work.
  • Her favourite places to visit are USA and Mexico.
  • These are going, can't find a reference to them anywhere.
  • She describes herself as an excellent cook.
  • She supports McLaren.
  • She drives a Fiat Panda.
  • Irrelevent information, true or not.

A Tout Le Monde[edit]

It was the first single off United Abominations. Washington is Next! was the second single. I made a minor change to fix this error. Thedividingline 04:20, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Article Text Was Copy/Pasted[edit]

I just found this site [1] and the original Wikipedia article was just copied and pasted straight from the site. What does this mean? Do I have to do a major re-write? I'm new here and don't know the policy on this...UnleashTheWolves 03:51, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for pointing me in that direction, it made me go have a closer look at the page, and turns out the text on that site was copied from Wikipedia, not the other way around. My bad! Sorry UnleashTheWolves 06:59, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yep, was just going to point out that. In this case, they are making the copyright violation for not mentioning Wikipedia as source as stated by the GFDL. -- ReyBrujo 17:02, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
For future reference, what should I have done if the Wikipedia article was copied from another site? -- UnleashTheWolves 23:57, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mezzosoprano?! Cristina is very knowed as a Contralto! she isn't Mezzosoprano! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.21.39.98 (talk) 21:16, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Collaborations[edit]

Why'd they take off the collaborations section? She's done so many collaborations it would only be fair and relevent to mention them. Does anyone know how to undo the delete? Coiler fan (talk) 21:19, 25 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Pronunciation[edit]

The article should include how to pronounce her surname "Scabbia". I have no clue, and it would be very helpful information! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.13.92.198 (talk) 00:11, 12 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What happend to the article?[edit]

When I last looked this up (a couple months ago) it was about twice as long as it is now. The Collaborations section has since been removed, and so has Media. While I don't have any opinion on the removal of the Media section, why was the Collaborations section removed?Xanthic-Ztk (talk) 05:09, 24 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hot[edit]

For her age she looks amazing --142.177.227.112 (talk) 04:41, 26 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Photo[edit]

Looks more like a brunette Annie Lennox than her - it's hardly flattering - what can we do about this? Egg Centric (talk) 23:07, 21 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Google image search found a good un on commons, sorted myself (not like that!) Egg Centric (talk) 23:11, 21 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Reference typo[edit]

There is an 'h' missing in reference 9, but since the myspace-url triggers the spam filter I can't change it. - FakirNL (talk) 23:24, 3 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestion: New photo[edit]

It might be a good time to change her photo after 13 years. Unfortunately, I haven't seen any clear photos that are under creative commons. Perhaps someone has a clear, live shot from at the earliest 2015 (in my opinion) onward. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MisfitGhoul (talkcontribs) 22:33, 9 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
