Improving the page[edit]

I noticed that this article was only given a "B" rating, and I was wondering how it might be improved.

Is there a cubivore God?[edit]

You know how there was a cubivore heaven? Well do you think there was a Cubivore God or Something? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 209.244.187.136 (talk) 21:47, 1 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

There might be, but it's never suggested ingame that there is one. It doesn't seem like there would be though.Hamstermage 17:00, 20 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Smash Bros Trophy[edit]

Just a quick note... there's YouTube vid of all the Smash Bros Melee trophies HERE: The Cubivore trophy is at 7:51. Says it's a panda head, and judging from the manual it's form is 3-limb Dark-Greyodon Scentaur. JaffaCakeLover (talk) 20:47, 30 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cubivore 2??????[edit]

I wonder if there will ever be a Cubivore 2... Cubivore was a GREAT game, and I have tried to find a contact to the Atlus company to ask them about a second Cubivore game. If anyone knows how to cantact Atlus, it would be of great help!!! If there ever is a Cubivore 2, I think they should make it a bit more customizable, like aking custom-design Cubivores, and adding some Green Cubivores, like a Greenapods species or something like that. Also, it should have some more levels, to make it last a bit longer, and be able to save anywhere, not just when you mate or enter a new level. Thanks, Cubivore Rocks!!!

The developer has liquidated, so sadly no, there will not be a Cubivore 2. Also, this is not an Atlus, Saru Brunei, or Marigul suggestion board, this is merely intended to inform readers about what this game is. --74.36.98.203 (talk) 00:53, 15 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Add to this article please[edit]

I came in here by way of a link I clicked accidentally, and then I started reading the article (cause I'm that type of person), but when I started reading it, I noticed it might be confusing to someone who has never played it (I noticed because I've never played it, obvuisly). Maybe someone who's played it should add to it, to make it less confusing. -156.3.74.84 (talk) 20:47, 14 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Parappa Misinformation(?)[edit]

The development history section of the article states that "IGN said the game was designed by the creator of Jungle Park and the designer of PaRappa the Rapper." This checks out with the IGN article cited there (aside from the fact that "creator" should be "creators"), but going off of the game's credits it looks like the only person who worked on both this game and Parappa is Gabin Ito, credited as a writer on the Parappa games and (rather enigmatically) as "Shadow Beast" on Cubivore. The game's credits being formatted in a non-standard way makes it unclear what role several people had on the game, though there is a different person listed under "Design Beast" who did not work on any Parappa games. The credits in Japanese seem to do a similar thing by listing every staff member as "[contribution]-番長", "番長" being the same "banchou" in the title meaning "leader". For example, Gabin Ito is listed as 影番長, 影 meaning "shadow", so if I had to guess I would say that he worked on the game's lighting. Gento Matsumoto, creator of Jungle Park, is credited simply as "番長", meaning he appears to have directed/designed the game, though he isn't credited on any Parappa games. Given that Matsumoto and Ito are the last two names listed in the credits, they might have been considered the most significant contributors to the game and this caused the misinformation to spread through IGN's translators. However, Parappa's actual designer, Masaya Matsuura, is nowhere to be found in Cubivore's credits. World's biggest Crime Crackers fan (talk) 16:03, 5 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
