Apparently because the Colonies were printing their own money which was debt free and not backed by Gold or Silver which provided help with the exchange of goods they're economy prospering. If this is true then the Bank of England pressed Parliament to pass the act keeping the Colonies from printing this money and because of it the Colonies had a depression less than a year later.

Can anyone confirm that the Colonies economy were prospering before this act as well as those two quotes?

Clarified wording

Changed the text of the article claiming "a lot of this money had no value." This is misleading: why would anyone produce or use anything that was worthless? I attempted to word this in a way that makes sense: as Colonial Scrip was not generally or universally backed by a Gold standard or Silver standard, it was a fiat currency without a check against inflation to protect its value.

Small Contradiction in wording

At the top of the article is stated:

"Some, such as Benjamin Franklin and Peter Cooper, believed this to be the least primary cause of the Revolutionary War."

Then it clearly states at the bottom that both these men thought it to be main reason. From what I know the bottom is true, so I removed the word 'least'. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.231.113.161 (talk) 00:15, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

  In the direction of the Albany Plan those that had a form of currency were to be included to a Plan of Union, this plan consisted of the Paying of Tax's. We may all now disagree, though this was the performance indicated towards paying back the refuge of Britain's burden towards transportational efforts and the supplying of troops in different matters, the study of that continues.

Lets also note the population grouth of early times when the Queen of England sent over the people of London which were considered the Gangs or the Gang of London. This period of the early 1700's brought many towards the shores of four major colonies. During this time kidnappers were doing the same, in order for them not to die at sea they were not intended to turn back for England, though were acknowledged for the New York area for this was a considered main port.

The Issue of Paper Currency Influenced Chief Justice James DeLancey to unite all the colonies. In this effort for the reasons of population, currency, tax, and a way to define a measure of self sufficiency and also a way to be inclined of a measure towards England for to continue a duty effort, in which was categorized as a transportation degree, a conclution and or security of soldiering effort for past and future which in accordance of law could be of some need.

When William Pitt had advised the King to pay the Prussian Army or was it the Persian; anyway this course was to free the British Army of duty in Europe and come to the Americas for support in the French and Indian Wars.

By now a paying degree was also formatted by Mr. Pitt in advisement to the king, this was to pay the course through, or, with Gold and Silver. Which left now America and its colonies with very little hard core matter and tradeing was still to continue. We all know how the trading was conducted through time, not enough of this and to much of that.

This ordinance that Chief Justice James DeLancey brought to the New York people was to build a building and Issue a form of currency to distribute amongst the population as a legal tender binding currency with no restrictions. Of course this now a top of the line form of government with no turning back, all there now was to be is the agreement that all were to be aligned with this.

 And the course continues, and in 1760 Mr. DeLancey and King George the second passed on death, this leads now to a factional ordinance of conduction through a governmental awareness.

If a Government is not in aligned with a form of agreement then it will most definitely go to a jury, which in this case had been the revolutionary system of occurrences. And since this, perhaps started as early as Livingston's escape from New York to New Jersey and the possibilities of Pennsylvania, a more public awareness is considered.

This ordinance now has begun; what we have in place of a currency is the forming of a grouping, first, perhaps starting with a Yankee though casual, the Patriot Law an Order, then the Sons of Liberty the conferencing of these now to begin a correspondence the first attempt of a neutral and or friendly measure through the now confusing mobile challenges of the colonies in america. The replacements now of a governmental order towards the forming of a currency is now the efforts to continue this is with the starting of a committee, thus which shall now be amongst many. The transporting continues and three per committee continues with the governmental recommendations throughout the colonies with a president. For them and now being of more then one a president per committee and then the creation or addition and continuance of a Deputy Director's General, the surgeons and physicians of the war which are now considered a neutral being and also are part of the creation and aligned with it the Articles of War or the Board of War. This issue is also allowing congress to exist somewhat, although it had opened doors in the begining it now has to continue with the facts such as surveying and the allowing of others to continue coming into the Americas. …If a conclusion existed, would we have a flow of currency and a tax about it, would the accumulation of a tax be taxed for the efforts of a governmental allowance and or provision. It is true that we back the money; though the idea of hard raw materials to be a measure, with it may and could of existed. If when a country or province has an issue of currency and or form then that is what they would standardly use. If a trade was united in the effort of said usage then it may appear that one would just use their course. If my ancester minded a mine of silver whom at one time, perhaps did then selling it's provision would be a talent of a trade sure you could trade a bushel for a bushel and if their was no form of currency then this would definitely be the course of survival.

A form of currency for everyone was indeed the true calculation of matter at one time. For how could a tax be on a bushel to a bushel if the measure was a bushel. The government's talent would be to have much of everything, and this was most definitely to be in circulation and usage as spenditure in it's fullest. Though with a form of currency the trade could be united as a circulated effort though also have the matter of what it earns, this earning would now or could now be concluded as a sequence to be taxed. If a formed government was in owing another then it would have to provide for that cause. I am happy ending that sentence with the word cause till next time, and remembering this is only a talk page the information gathered within this paragraphical effort is of a continuance of study and research.
