The Sharks?[edit]

When I click the link to the Sharks from the previous winners section, I'm taken to a page about a band named The Sharks! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.43.85.207 (talk) 12:54, 13 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

1943 Currie Cup[edit]

I have a record that Western Province won the 1943 Currie Cup (if I remember, it's from the 1981 Guiness World of Sporting Records). It strikes me as strange that it would have taken place during World War II. Can anyone shed some light on this? Perhaps there was an unofficial tournament? format?[edit]

what is the format of the 2006 season?

is it the same as previous seasons? plus have any fixtures been announced?

cheers!

1994 final[edit]

Was the 1994 final really held at Springbok Park and not the Free State Stadium? Greenman 22:48, 7 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like it was [1]. Greenman 23:20, 12 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, apparently the FS Stadium was under construction at the time. Thanks for fixing that up. Cvene64 15:17, 14 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Extra time[edit]

The ITN entry states the first draw in extra time. I had assumed it meant the first draw ever but obviously not. I assume then that it's talking about the first time the match ever entered extra time (& still ended up with a draw). When as extra time added as an option? The article needs to mention this. History[edit]

Whilst the history section is entertaining reading it contains lots of opinion, provincialism etc. I would like to tidy that up if no-one has any objection. It needs to be factual with citeable references

1960-1967[edit]

It seems there was a hiatus from 1960-1968. Anybody know the reason? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Biscuit1018 (talkcontribs) 17:36, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It's more likely no-one has a reference for those dates? Greenman (talk) 18:58, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

unions map[edit]

The map need work Perticularly in Gauteng where I think the falcons are placed two far north and should not be placed nothe of the Lions. This is in contrast to what the article says "Gauteng has two unions that draw exclusively from portions of that province:

it says the falcons are to east and south when the map draws them to the east and North. It would also be handy if the cities were marked on the map.Scubasteve55 (talk) 17:26, 3 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

1883-1888[edit]

Most sources agree that the competition started in 1889 yet the article includes winners from 1883? Should these earlier years be removed?AlecStewart (talk) 20:50, 18 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, this was vandalism that slipped through, have reverted. Greenman (talk) 07:49, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
