I don't know how to properly add a comment to this "talk" page; but the article needs to be updated to reflect the SBOE final action on the Social Studies standards in May 2010. Maybe it should also be mentioned that her term ends in January, and she is not running for re-election. jawhitzn (talk) 03:42, 27 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Untitled[edit]

hey folks. i just added a small blurb about cynthia's actions on the texas sboe that have been in the news recently. it's not exactly complete, nor does it cite an unbiased source. however, it is a start and i do think it is important to catalogue the changes that these folks are making (in an unbiased way) given the scope and importance of them. if we could complete it and if anyone could find some primary sources on the sboe actions, that would be ideal...

Recent News About Textbook Controversy "Mexican-American Heritage"[edit]

It is important to state facts fairly and correctly. The statements of reviewers, commentators, and the quotations in the book alone are sufficient to allow the reader to form an opinion on the matter. Wikipedia editors should report on controversies, not create them. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Starfish warrior (talkcontribs) 17:51, 8 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
