Hamilton Suicide Bullying[edit]

  • The Bullying section provides no context and the cited sources are not reliable. Added citation tags and verify source tags since the Cited website to support the phrase "Asher Brown, committed suicide as a result" ( http://www.nowpublic.com/world/jayron-martin-says-he-can-relate-asher-brown-bullying-suicide-2688373.html ) is a blog site where its cited sources go to 404 pages.
  • Also it talks about one case on one school on a ISD with 106K students and 70 campuses, I think it will be better suited for a page about that school itself.

As sad as the event was, I don't think it is notable enough to put on there, HOWEVER, I do think close tabs on the civil trial should be kept and put on the article and not be visible ON the article until the conclusions of the civil suit (possibly one or two years). Until then, it can be updated with appropriate ref's either in talked or non-wikied (invisible) on the main article. Once the trial is over, then we can either delete or make it visible. --Hourick (talk) 21:46, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • If a parent is considering placing a student in this school disctrict, shouldn't they know about this district's history? Ought not an investor in school bonds be aware of the potential financial liability this district faces? Paul, in Saudi (talk) 11:55, 20 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What a Remarkable Page[edit]

We have a page on third-largest school district in the state, but we do not even clearly say when the district was established. (December 1939) Heck, the punctuation is screwed up. (Capital letter after a period.)Let me see if I can lend some sort of hand with this poor thing. Paul, in Saudi (talk) 12:13, 20 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Chinese[edit]

The school district's name in Chinese is "萨瑞吉学区" http://www.jiviolinschool.com/honorroll-wz-pic/hono-03.htm WhisperToMe (talk) 06:06, 15 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The archive of the page is http://www.webcitation.org/6POWXjeAQ, but Cy fair ISD also has some Chinese documents! WhisperToMe (talk) 14:47, 7 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

In accordance with WP:WPSCHOOLS/AG#N, middle schools should be merged into the district page unless there is significant coverage in reliable sources. Though there has been some work in describing the schools like their colors, newspapers, and yearbooks, these can be easily incorporated in the main district page with a short paragraph each. I expect to close this issue if there is no discussion by Thursday Aug 16. The Jacobin (talk) 19:59, 11 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Since there has been no discussion, this issue is closed and the pages will be merged today. The Jacobin (talk) 15:38, 16 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Former websites[edit]

https://web.archive.org/web/19980113110723/http://www.tea.state.tx.us/links/districts/index.html pointed at http://www.cy-fair.isd.tenet.edu/~daniel/cyfair.html -- that page wasn't archived and it seems the cy-fair.isd.tenet.edu wasn't archived either.
