Famous Alumni?[edit]

I have removed this "Famous Alumnus" from the article, because it does not meet the Wikipedia standards and appears to be self-promotional:

  • Tyler Hill – Naval Academy midshipman; 12-time All-American in swimming and water polo; competed in 2006 NCAA Water Polo Final Four; Class of '04.

Please see Wikipedia:Deletion of vanity articles, Wikipedia:Notability (people), Wikipedia:Vanity guidelines.--Evb-wiki 13:38, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Apparently somebody didn't agree; no bother, I deleted it. Wikipediarules2221 08:12, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I goning to start putting things together to make this page better, might be a while I havn't had much time for Wikipedia'n lately, I am also an Alumni of CC, Class of 1995. NewsManJustin 14:40, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Cycreekcougar.png[edit]

Image:Cycreekcougar.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Article Rewrite[edit]

After much debate on my part, I decided to remove the graphic of the Cougar to meet Wiki standards. If it could be verified as not being copyrighted, then maybe it could be used again with a proper citation. Also, I did redo the first portion of article to make more clear and I added an infobox for school information. I also deleted the educational backgroud info for the school principal as I felt it did not meet Wiki standards regarding vanity nor did I feel it was necessary for article. Anyone is welcome to challenge the deletions. Indyjrg1762 (talk) 07:33, 15 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
