It states in the article that Cyprian Brady was the first ever TD elected without having won at least 1000 1st preference votes. This is referenced to an Irish Independent piece, but appears to be incorrect. According to: http://www.irishelection.com/2007/05/cyprian-brady-900-odd-first-preferences-1-dail-seat/ , Brian O’Higgins was elected in Clare in 1923 with only 144 1st preference votes. Cyprian Brady is actually the second TD to be elected with less than 1,000 FP votes after Brian O'Higgins. Article updated. Snappy (talk) 19:27, 16 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
