history[edit]

Why has the article been annotated "The neutrality of this section is disputed. Please see the discussion on the talk page. Please do not remove this message until the dispute is resolved. Not for profit[edit]

The current text states

This differentiates it from all the other Water companies operating in England and restores it to the same organisational status as water supply utilities in Scotland and the pre-privatisation water supply undertakings in England

and is sourced back to Welsh Water's own documentation. This seems disingenuous . When the company (then called Hyder) failed and it became a not for profit company, almost all of its services were outsourced to contractors, many from United Utilities. That remains the case. This means that a large chunk of every pound paid by a Welsh consumer actually ends up in the pockets of United Utilities a very much for profit company. It seems disingenuous at best and plain wrong at worst to claim that this is the same as the the pre-privatisation water companies. Any thoughts?
