Information About Enrico Fermi Nuclear Generating Station[edit]

As a resident of MI I know that there was a nuclear plant near Monroe however this DTE Energy page does not have any indication that it exists.

Although the DTE_Electric_Company and Enrico_Fermi_Nuclear_Generating_Station pages gives this information, would anyone object to me renaming the subsection "Existing coal-fired power plants" to "Existing Power Plants", tidying up (not removing) some of the coal specific text, and adding a summary of the nuclear plant information? Another option would be to add a short nuclear subsection but that seems less than ideal since there wouldn't be enough content to justify it.

Credit Reporting suddenly hampering society?[edit]

That is a ridiculous statement about credit reporting. What an absurd notion that one would be able to 'opt-out' of a credit reporting program. I'm sure that everyone involved in any credit scenario would 'opt out' of a credit reporting process if given the chance.

The purpose of these types of programs is to offer protection to the creditor as well as establishing a process of dealing with delinquency. It's not new or surprising that DTE would engage in this activity. And to my knowledge, society has yet to collapse because of it.

Missing Information[edit]

There's no mention of the clycling single-unit gas plant that is owned by DTE Electric Company in Avoca, MI (Greenwood Energy Center). It is not a part of DTE Gas as it does not provide consumers with gas; it generates electricity for consumers. On the same premises are a Solar Currents solar field and peakers, both which generate electricity. DTE had also announced plans of future production of one or more gas plants as it retires coal facilities, which isn't mentioned here. Although gas is not "renewable," it is widely accepted as being plentiful and is still environmentally much cleaner than coal. Marymmotta (talk) 14:01, 13 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
