Promotional[edit]

I've removed a chunk of the promotional content from this article. This article still needs a lot of work and reliable, third-party, published sources. A big part of what I removed was the completely unsubstantiated "Industry Firsts". The first few entries may be Industry Firsts (if properly sourced), but it seemed to go into marketing after that. Most of the statements removed essentially were along the lines of "Apple was the first company to create an iPhone", which while true is not quite an Industry First as no other company can create iPhones. Perhaps if the later entries were more along "First PC with a GUI available to the public (Apple Lisa)" (true and an industry first) and less "30" Self-Cleaning TrademarkedName Wall Oven for wall or undercounter installations" (with reliable, third-party, published sources) it would seem less promotional and more Industry Firsts. I'm not even sure here if Industry Firsts is a good table to have here...

In addition, Trademark symbols should not be used, as per MOS:TMRULES.Stesmo (talk) 19:08, 16 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Promotional Update[edit]

All unverified claims have been removed, including the Industry Firsts table. All remaining content has been edited to include verifiable claims only. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.4.50.130 (talk) 23:54, 22 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
