Redirects are expensive[edit]

The subject is not notable. I'm not wasting my volunteer time arguing with some IP. Chris Troutman (talk) 00:14, 19 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

- dallas is one of the largest cities in the us (over 1 mil), it's fd should be considered notable. Epluribusunumyall (talk) 23:54, 15 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

- Dallas has one of the largest fire departments in the nation, and the second largest in Texas. It is a very notable dept and deserves its own article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Benhugheswiki (talkcontribs) 19:43, 26 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Mess[edit]

Based on dozens of clues, the article was written by a person connected to the union. I have tried to clean it up to meet Wikipedia standards, but I have a long way to go. One thing I will try to tackle is station nicknames. I am sure to each station their nickname is personal and relevant, but I have yet to find an online source to support. If anyone has better luck, pls post online source for station nicknames. Absent a source, I will urge removal of nicknames.Tomtillet (talk) 23:26, 15 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

(I am new to Wikipedia, unsure if this is the correct way to reply) I am in no way connected to the Dallas Firefighters Union. I am simply a "fire buff" and I want to provide as much accurate information as possible. Unfortunately, DFR (and many other FDs around USA) don't have much official information online, therefore my source is my eyes, and videos and pictures of Dallas Fire apparatus. If there is anything that violates Wikipedia's rules on here please remove it. Benhugheswiki (talk) 20:20, 24 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
