Dallington Hall[edit]

According to Pevsner's Buildings of England (Northamptonshire volume Page 356) Sir Joseph Jekyll bought the estate from The Raynsford Family before building the Hall. The Raynsfords had had an earlier (17th Century) house there, parts of which survive in the stables. The Wikipedia article says that the house was occupied by the "Rainsfords" after Jekyll's time. Did the Rainsford Family come back or is this a mistake? Or is this a different family, hence the spelling. Spinney Hill (talk) 20:59, 29 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
