notability[edit]

A dedicated article is not warranted on this person. The claim of notability is around membership in Celtic Thunder where he already has a section there. He can be adequately covered there.--RadioFan (talk) 00:01, 9 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Changes have been reverted again. Let's keep this as a redirect rather than delete the article completely. It would be best to have it as a redirect so that anyone searching on his name will be taken to the Celtic Thunder article.--RadioFan (talk) 14:50, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Image[edit]

Though the attempts at adding an image are appreciated, If you're new to the process please just let me know on my talk page if you would like to try to add an image. There have been multiple tries, but likely are not viable images allowed on Wikipedia anyway. I can help you sort out what's suitable and how to add it to the infobox.LoriLee (talk) 01:34, 29 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request

Revert[edit]

My apologies for the strange edit sumary with this revert. The actual reason for the revert was that the edit was badly formated and the file did not exist. Yaris678 (talk) 23:13, 17 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

External links[edit]

Wikicorrecting - the rule you mentioned is in the "Links normally to be avoided" section, not the restrictions "without exception" section. "one should generally avoid providing external links to ... 10. Social networking sites..."

It's not an absolute prohibition, and plenty of people seem to include those links. Quick look at Glee: Lea Michele.

Obviously you do not want a link to his page on Celtic Thunder so much that you delete all the social links which may benefit the singer, so I won't push that anymore.

I had initially thought you were a supporter of McGinty's (even on his team). I'm a researcher learning to write Wikipedia sections, but after the time spent researching who he is and reworking the article, I'm invested and want the best article we all can make for him. You may add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:

Which national anthem[edit]

The article states that Damian sang "the national anthem". Would that be the Irish national anthem? As he is from Northern Ireland he would not sing the Irish national anthem. Possibly the British National anthem? I think the function was in the US, therefore it might be the US national anthem. I haven't edited it as I don't know which anthem it was and it should be specified. 164.151.196.162 (talk) 08:59, 11 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
