Hmmm[edit]

Is it noteworthy to update the article with what Damien is doing today? (ie posting his sour, bitter YouTube rants, working construction, feuds with Wrestlecrap and Meltzer)? I thought I'd ask before doing it myself. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.250.160.130 (talk) 16:40, 2 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm getting tired of trying...[edit]

...it seems to me that some people are obsessed with removing wrestling articles from Wikipedia rather than trying to help improve them. At this point I'm about to give up on seeing if articles are really notable and worth saving and if I can help improve them prior to deletion (I'll just go back to doing what I'm interested in doing here). But here's a source link to add into the profile (which also helps with notability). http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0857363/

Additionally, if I remember correctly when reading the WP:N (as I was recommended to do by the user who posted the prod notice), that someone would be notable, if they wouldn't otherwise be, if they were the first to do something in particular. WWEs Monday Night Raw is VERY NOTABLE, and Phil Theis was in the first main event of a Raw...which means even if he wouldn't otherwise be notable (which is debatable), he still is worthy of having an article because of his being one of only two peole who main evented the very first episode of Raw.

You appear to be slightly confused, this is an encyclopedia not a wrestling fan site. I'm improving the encyclopedia by removing articles which do not meet notability guidelines. Please see WP:BIO, which makes it clear what the criteria for inclusion are. Arguments like he "was in the first main event of a Raw" do not appear. I would have to say that you ^ appear to be slightly confused. Wikipedia isn't imdb either but you can find a wiki page for just about everyone who has ever been in anything. As soon as something comes out theres a wikipage for the person. One could argue that these pages are created by the talents PR and that's quite possible. It would be a benefit to see this article expanded.Woods01 (talk) 01:39, 18 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

lolllllllllllll that was one hell of an insult —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.199.28.185 (talk) 03:32, 6 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism[edit]

Due to high levels of vandalism on the page recently, I have requested semi-protection and it has been approved.LessThanClippers (talk) 19:55, 7 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

And it has been changed to Full-Protection due to the continued vandalism, bringing BLP concerns. D.M.N. (talk) 20:56, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's a shame that so many Youtube loafing trolls can't seem to have a grasp on reality...times like this I hate being a wrestling fan and an apprecitator of modern surrealism. (talk) 07:44 22nd January 2008 (UTC)

The Protection wore off and the vandalism has continued. I have re requested. LessThanClippers (talk) 01:36, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Damien vs. Damian[edit]

Hmm. It appears that Phil's official sites such as his Stickam, YouTube and blogTV lists his name as being "Damian" Demento and not Damien. I see the same thing in several old WWF Magazine news clippings. Is this a mistake from Theis' and WWE's side or...? --Kaizer13 (talk) 23:02, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it is a mistake from Theis and WWE. It was most definitely spelled "Damien". GaryColemanFan (talk) 00:51, 2 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Return[edit]

Phil Theis has indeed returned to pro wrestling under the Damien Demento name.

YouTube section[edit]

I question the notability of this section, and I have serious concerns about the unreliable sources. GaryColemanFan (talk) 03:35, 22 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Just because you don't like the sources doesn't mean they aren't reliable or the incidents didn't happen. Neoyamaneko (talk) 08:24, 23 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

But WP:RS does mean that they aren't reliable. Have you read it? GaryColemanFan (talk) 16:31, 23 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
